School is back in session, which for us name nerds may have began a new chapter of name spotting on classroom rosters.
Class rosters this year are likely to reflect the top names of the 2010s and 2020s like Olivia and Oliver, Madison and Mason, Emma and Ethan.

This week’s featured Nameberry blog — Back to School Names — explores what names would have been found in American classrooms throughout history.
Now for the fun part: vote for your favorite name from each of these decades to find the ultimate Nameberry favorites!
And don’t forget to check out our blog post to see the full lists of top names in each decade of American classrooms.
