Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Dad Names
My own dad, Jeff, has what I would consider to be one of the most quintessential “dad names” amongst the fathers of my same-age peers. But to babies born today, Jeff, Steve, Ron, and Gary are no longer top of the “dad name” territory.
Dad names of today were at their most popular in the 80s, 90s, and even early 2000s. There are still your fair share of Mikes, Johns, and Dans, of course, but amongst the new dads of today are plenty of Tylers, Austins, Ryans, and Codys.
