Snap question: you have to name a baby in honor of your grandmother, right now! What do you choose?
I'm basically a granny myself when it comes to name tastes, so I’d happily re-use Frances. If my style was a bit jazzier, maybe Francesca or just Frankie. I'm not such a fan of my other nana's name, Irene, but I might consider an international version, Eirene or Irina. Maybe Ren? Or another name that means peace, like Frida.
