Summer is officially here!
School is out, the sun is shining, and I personally am enjoying a lovely vacation at the shore — time for a summer names poll!
Month + Season Names
Let’s start with the most obvious. What is more summery than Summer itself? Bright and cheerful, Summer first charted in 1971 and has been a steady favorite, ranking within the US Top 300 since the late 70s.
The summer month names are stylish as can be, with vintage June and August shooting up the charts. July is much more under the radar, but was given to about a dozen baby boys and a dozen baby girls in 2023.
Names That Mean Sun
