I love fortune-telling. In fact, it’s what got me into this business.
At 11 years old, I received a set of novelty fortune-telling books as a gift — one of which was about names.
As it turns out, I was more interested in the names and their origins than the (admittedly vague) fortunes. My curiosity ultimately led me to Nameberry, and you know what they say: The rest was history.
Baby names are my passion, but I maintained my interest in fortune-telling. (Come by and I’ll read your tarot cards sometime). So when the opportunity arose to predict the Top Baby Names of 2035, I jumped at the chance to put my prognostication skills to the test.
This week on the blog, we’re looking ahead to the most popular baby names of the future. We developed a proprietary formula that revealed the Top 100 girl and boy names of 2035.
But what about the names beyond the Top 100? I asked the algorithm to tell me the fastest-rising girl and boy names between now and 2035 — those that are outside of the Top 1000 now and will join in the next ten years — and here’s what it revealed:

Casper is the name of my younger nephew (8). I hope it doesn’t get too popular! I like Elowen a lot for the girls. Leni, Isadora, and Noeli (prefer it with an e at the end) are nice too. Maybe Lenny & Caelum from the boys’ list, but I’m not a big fan of the other names on there.
That was exciting to see my name in your fortune telling book. I think those names are spot on for today's girls. The list was very up and coming for girls, however those boys' names are not ear pleasing to me.
