Extravagant 2024 namer here! My daughter, Cerelia "Cece" was born in January. Found the name on NB a few years back, fell in love with it and spent the whole time until she was born crossing my fingers that it wasn't used by a celebrity or as a character in a bestselling novel or something that would spoil it by making it too trendy
I just had my baby 10 days ago. You actually did a blog post on my naming dilemma (Irish astronomer husband not loving Rory as a nn to Aurora). After all the hoopla we ended up going with Chloe Jade, which wasn’t even on our list. We named her 10 hours after she was born. I was obsessed with Nameberry my whole pregnancy and kept trying to find that perfect name but nothing ever stuck. I also fell into the trap of wanting a name that wasn’t too popular but what I ultimately realized about myself is that I’m not an adventurous name person and that’s ok. Even though Chloe is a top 30 name I actually don’t know any at my kid’s school, preschool and I don’t have any friends or family that have used the name. Eva, Ronan, Conor and Chloe and I’m never having another baby so I’m happy to have name anxiety behind me 🎉
Thank you! That means a lot. My family and friends don’t like that name at all. They think I should go with something like Faith and it’s pretty but that name is not as original as Sapphire.
My 2024 baby is a Linnea Wren ! It's funny that both her names already show up in this post. Naming her was an unexpectedly difficult process for me and caused me a lot of stress. I wonder if you discuss when naming is not fun somewhere ?

Chloe is a beautiful name! Congratulations ❤️
Our June baby Evangeline “Eva” Morgan ticks off three trends! I feel so seen.
All in on extravaganza. That would be a good name, actually.
Annie for short 😉
I named my 2023 daughter Enid ❤️
Beautiful! I am ready for an Enid comeback. The show Wednesday convinced me!
Sapphire well be my first girls name. Have something to say? Go right ahead!
Sapphire is a gorgeous name! More unique than Ruby or Pearl, and similar sounds to familiar Sophia
