How about Vespers? While it is an odd noun that is actually singular with the "s" on it (like chicken referring to one or many), it fits the criteria and is an interesting and unique word name.
I like that it rhymes with Hayes, is familiar as a word and surname, and has a cool, almost sci-fi sound from the similarity to daze (which doesn't bother me, though I could see people finding it a negative association.)

I would love to see Times as a given name. I think it has great potential because it doesn’t sound too much like a word name, plus it’s very elegant.
