This week on Nameberry, we’re analyzing the top baby names in 12 American cities.

While most cities don’t publish official data on their most popular baby names, we’re lucky enough to have up-to-the-minute stats on the names Berries are searching for most.

As usual with our statistics, it’s a great predictive tool to see the names that could be future hits in your hometown! Even if you don’t know many children called Aurelia or August, you can be sure that parents in your community are considering these names for their babies.

I always like to cross-reference the list for my city, Chicago, to see if the names parents view on Nameberry correlate with the names of children and babies I know:
