On the agenda for today: a survey of the Berries’ (that’s you!) favorite nature names right now.
But first, a message from our friends at CBR®!
As a mom, you naturally want to do everything you can to protect your baby's future health. That's why preserving the powerful newborn stem cells found in your baby's umbilical cord can be such an important step. The stem cells from cord blood have the potential to treat over 80 serious conditions, including certain types of leukemia and lymphoma.1 Discover why #1 OB/GYN recommended Cord Blood Registry (CBR) is the #1 choice of parents2

The Very Best Nature Names, As Chosen by You
Nature names have been used since time immemorial, but they’ve never been as popular or pervasive as they are today.
Taking a look at popular names in the US, names with conspicuous ties to nature — like Violet, Ivy, and Willow — rank among the Top 50, along with subtle nature names, such as Dylan (“son of the sea”), Stella (“star”), and Oliver (“olive tree”).
But these statistics are now more than a year out of date — and besides, we know you Berries tend to run ahead of the curve.

Would You Change Your Name…For a Lifetime of Free Sandwiches?
That’s what Subway is asking in its latest contest. Over 10,000 people agreed to legally change their name to Subway (and get free sandwiches for life) if they win. 🥪
We handle a lot of name change consultations at Nameberry, but we’ve yet to come across any that are sandwich related. I can’t say I’d recommend for anyone to go through with changing their name to Subway! (What would be the nickname? Subbie?)
We’re putting together a full name change guide, but as an exclusive to our newsletter subscribers, you can see the first two installments before they go public:

Sierra is such a lovely name ♥
Here in the Philippines, we have a long mountain range called the Sierra Madre. It serves as a natural typhoon barrier, shielding the island of Luzon from typhoons that form in the Pacific Ocean.
Sierra is my very favorite girls’
name of all time! I never had a girl though, so it’s up for grabs. Lol
